Carnival sunrise dining room

I can honestly say I have never noticed what my tablemates had on their feet, I am too busy enjoying my cruise flip-flops and all. My thoughts are if someone is really going to take offense to what I have on my feet there are much deeper issues for that person. Someone even suggested that if I chose to wear my flip-flops I should dine elsewhere on the ship. I wouldn't let her wear those to the dining room but around the house I could care less. The changes make some guests wary, while others are happy to see the new choices in the main dining room. My DD has a pair of the Old Navy ones in white or should I say they are black now from so much use. Cruise Cruise Line menus undergo an extensive makeover every few years. I think common sense has to come into play.

This was a pretty heated topic on the fashion board a few months back. The have a heel and have sparkly straps and are very cute with a nice sundress. DD will be bringing her Roxy Flip-flops and will not be out of place on non-formal nights.

I think there is a difference between say an Old Navy pair of flip-flops for $3.50 (my idea of a beachy flip flop) and a pair of what I consider tasteful flip flops.
